Ted Kennedy is on fire on C-span
Talking about how a guest worker program is an invitation of exploitation of workers as happened in the 1960s; Box Turtle Cornyn who put forth this amendment is being taken to task for not even knowing about this situation (Perosi??) in the 60s.

Cornyn is such a dumb old shoe.

1. Ted Kennedy is always on fire.
I'm glad he's taking care of his health because he gets so worked up he looks like he's gonna explode.

4. I haven't heard him yell like that in a long
time - he is very passionate about abuses of the poor.

5. I'm sorry I missed it.
Right now, I don't have cable. Not that I miss watching the news, but I would have liked to see that.

3. Those workers from the 60s still trying to get the pension $$ they earned
Seem to recall it was put into some sort of special trust. They want it. Officials not being helpful.

Makes me wonder if new 'guest worker' program is ploy to withhold Social Security payroll taxes to prop up the plundered fund now with hopes the workers won't (live to) ask for it back later.

Yeah, I'm cynical. Have seen plenty to make me that way.
