but to ME he is the savior of the party. I know he's a big moderate for many on here, but right now we need somebody who can win and I feel he can do it.
Re-elect PRESIDENT GORE!

Some day, Goddess willing, the history books will reflect that Al Gore was the duly elected president of the United States in 2000, but had his rightful place usurped by a conspiracy of neocon Republicans, brownshirt-type thugs, and a paid-for Supreme Court.
I hope I live to see the day Gore is recognized at President.

I'm surprised he left full time politics. He'd of won a Senatorship easily and I think he would have had an even better chance than Kerry in 2004. But then again, there's good smack in making speeches.

11. Our lovely party leaders discouraged him from running in 2004. |
|
They wouldn't support him. Fortunately, we now have NEW party leaders.

6. If he got into the race I could enthusiastically support him |
|
I think a Gore/Edwards or Gore/Warner ticket would be quite devastating.

10. Gentle, intelligent persuasion. |
|
He'll jump into the race if we keep at him.
Tell him that his party and country needs him. Be persuasive, but be gentle. Use intelligent arguments, not emotional ones. Focus on the issues on which he would be the best. Hit his hot buttons.
