Tipton Three Seek Justice for Religious Persecution Experienced At Guantanamo
Washington, DC – May 16, 2006 A United States District Court judge has ruled that the three subjects of ROAD TO GUANTANAMO, which last week had its North American premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, have the right to file a lawsuit against their United States captors in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The 10 Million dollar lawsuit claims their treatment at the prison was in direct violation of their right under U.S. law to practice their religious faith.

1. Hey, the prison itself is illegal! Detaining folks without cause
or trial is illegal! Keeping detainees for years is illegal. We've sunk to this, all thanks to Dumbya and Rummy.

3. If anything it will bring the case into the spotlight
If it gets to SCOTUS that is.

That a district court judge gave them the right at all is amazing.
