KKKondi Rice: "President of Iran is Dangerous"...oh boy, here we go
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/01/12/world/main1203654.shtml

(CBS/AP) Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, coordinating with European allies, called on the United Nations Thursday to confront Iran's "defiance" and demand that Tehran halt its nuclear program. Rice told CBS News in an exclusive interview that Iran's new President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is "dangerous."

"Well he is certainly an unusual one for president. And yes, I think he's dangerous," Rice told Roberts. "It's dangerous because these are thoughts and words that have consequences."

1. Isnt that exactly what Colin said about Saddam?
The country is different but the script's the same.
Iraq exit stage left. Enter Iran stage right.

2. In the end, this is a bluff. Are we going to invade & replace him? No
Iran knows it. So should we.

Don't fall into the trap of domestic hysteria and despair over a war that isn't going to happen. Treat this as another BushCo political deception operation, which is what it is.

Don't play the game as they've scripted it for you.

5. Make the most of them while you have them.
Tomorrow, after we've shaken off our funk about Scalito, the fact that Bush-Cheney and the GOP leadership are criminals will still be there, waiting for us to do something about it.:kick:

4. How do we know they are going to NOT deviate from their own script?
"I'm not into nation building." - Didn't W say something like that a year or two before he did the exact opposite? Are you so sure Bush&Co WON'T start another war? I'm not... :hide:

6. We aren't Germany.
As much as we appreciate the emerging parallels, so do the people who run the U.S. military and intelligence services. They don't want to go down that road, and in the end, they'll arrest Bush and Cheney before they start another World War.

9. Wonder what would have happened if she had listened to the
briefing she got in February (after the outrage of the October attack on the USS Cole) about Osama bin Laden, instead of waiting until September 12th of 2001? I guess, then, that OBL was not "dangerous" at the time . . .
