Please help: Does anyone have a link to "redneck" writer Baigent (sp?)

A few months ago, there was a thread about this writer, who considers himself a progressive "redneck". He writes in a blog about how to understand the rural white working class from a progressive perspective. I don't think I have spelled his name correctly, and whenever I google that name as I (mis)spell it, I just get Michael Baigent, author of Holy Blood, Holy Grail, on which the Da Vinci code was based, and obviously is now at the top of google's search engine.

Any ideas? I would like to read what he has been writing lately.
