Jefferson gets thousands, Cheney's Haliburton gets billions...

I just happened to think...Jefferson was caught with 90 thousand dollars hidden in his freezer.

Cheney, meanwhile has seen to it that Haliburton has received on-going contracts for billions of dollars - a company in which he still owns stock. And Cheney's deal is done right in our faces as he smugly indicates that he wants us to "go fcuk ourselves."

No doubt that if Jefferson is guilty, I think he should go down as fast as Delay or Cunningham. I don't uphold this political theft. But I think Cheney should go down too - except that he and BushCo have decided that they can do whatever they want to do and they don't give a damn what we think about it.

Jefferson is small time.

But when you compare him to Cheney . . . well, the gulf is enormous.
