6. No. Some people who wanted normal back and the tricksters to
go away.. jumped the gun. They didn't go on facts. And a few days later separated their story out into facts and beliefs.

We know no more than that until we get other sources.. witnesses to incidents in the form of a person or a press conference or a document.

Otherwise..assume nothing really happened. The facts add up to very little. Just that there were dark SUVs going into a parking lot near the justice bldg, or some such thing.

People have been keeping it going when the original reporters stepped back from the story.

No big deal. A rumour a day is the internet norm. We debunk em and move on with the truth. Hopefully we have all learned to be more discerning. That is the most hopefull thing of all - cause Rove is back full time with the political machine. So.. call it practice.

It will happen again. Though I think Leopold and Truthout learnt as much as we did.

Discern, discern, discern.... we all needed to be reminded that is a harsh place to discern reality because of the secrecy and all. And the examples that are made of anyone who sticks their neck out.. or speaks.

Relax. It is over. Most of us didn't fall into the personal attacks that occured later.

National Post Newspaper in Canada came out with a douzzie this week too.

Again.. check your sources folks. Everyone.

This administration and its times?

11. Well - someone heavily invested emotionally in normal returning to
Edited on Wed May-24-06 06:22 PM by applegrove
their world - jumped the gun and wrote a story about the tricksters getting theirs. That isn't so much as confusion as it is a pattern in these times. Why wedges work. Why would the left side of the blogosphere not be vulnerable at times to the same emotional thinking as the freepers have been? The same tricksters are throwing hate and fear and attacking his world too. Only Leopold knows enough to know that they are not on his side. Think how much work the freepers still have to do?

And he stopped thinking for a bit and jumped to a safe new world. Be it "no gays will marry in my church and my son will not be gay" or "no brown people will take over my country and force my grandkids to learn "latin" (???) or "USA will always be supreme and the most powerfull force in the world no matter that it has 5% of the population and 10% of the resources".

How is Leopold any different? Except that he liked the country the way it was in the 20th century. And Rove has been heavily investigated.

Oh yeah... except that he took ownership of his emotional jump of logic and was honest after some thought.. and when evidence showed he didn't have enough information. And finds himself there. Not in a state of confusion.. but a state where there is not enough good information and it is hard to discern? He is right back with everyone else - watching the Grand Jury & waiting.

Because the political arm of the GOP uses the tools of sociopaths. Wedges and projection as the day as long and very accurate discernment of where people are at emotionally so they can place these things - as only someone cold-hearted could do.

At least he pulled back and admitted the assumptions he made. Where he projected. Bet ya he will be more discerning the next time. A normal & predictable mistake to make as a human, a big one to make as a journalist.

Bet ya Karl Rove will forever be talking of empire and not shallow emotions that led him on the trail of world domination, dirty tricks and games with people's lives in order to see enough emotion reflected back to him so he could feel something. We will never hear an admission of that will we. He'll never learn. Pssst! and he is the one in power. Plame was working on Iran. U.S.A. has stated it could bomb Iran with a nuclear bomb? Which is more serious and which caused more confusion? And who likes the confusion and who creates it?

Confusion? Oh - no.. I think we are all learning. And getting to the basics. And the reality underneath the wedges and the projection and the people crashing into each other on emotion and jumping to faulty conclusions.

People have learned pretty quick on the whole. Germans went a decade not knowing anything.. and then...

12. nah, I disagree. We have been harvested for deliberate slow learning.
the stakes are much higher now with the devastating tools at hand by the tools at hand.

people are not quick leaners.
history repeats, and petes.

gimme gimme gimme, for my tiny circle of want that has been described for me by commercialized news. I'm so special.
