Why no media polls

on the Democratic Party?

HANOVER -- Why are there never any media polls on Democrats or their party? Probably because polling on Democrats turns up negatives.
Why not, when Howard Dean, the head of the Party, is clearly extraterrestrial? Their anti-war, pro-terrorist standard-bearer, Cindy Sheehan, is a Socialist loony bin who publicly fawned over Venezuela's insane pro-communist dictator, Hugo Chavez. One of their elder statesmen, Ted Kennedy, left a woman companion to drown; and another, Robert Byrd, is an unapologetic past member of the KKK.

Their front-runner for president, Hillary Clinton, was caught with FBI files on opponents. Their former foreign policy adviser, Sandy Berger, was caught and convicted of stuffing top-secret documents down his clothing.

Their anti-war hero in Congress, Jack Murtha, is a cut-and-run publicity seeker who switched from pro- to anti-war only because Bush ruffled his feathers by wisely ignoring him.

One of their media mouthpieces, Dan Rather (good riddance) is caught trying to bring down a sitting president with forged documents. And their other media munchkins, both print and electronic, because of their dismal record of lying, deceiving and obvious shilling for the Democrats, are daily being exposed by talk radio and conservative Web logs, and as a result are losing readers, subscribers and viewers at astronomical rates.

Democrats, from pure desperation, deal continuously in muckraking, scandal-mongering and name-calling, further demonstrating their unhinged mindset with every media sound bite. In short, that party is controlled by lunatics and emasculated fringe dwellers in permanent self-destruct mode.

The "antique media" (formerly "Mainstream Media") know that polls on Democrats would reveal two things -- their own failure to prop that party up, and the abysmal state of the Democratic Party. So don't expect any.

Most manufacturers now provide some kind of locking mechanisims with pistols now days. All the pistol I have purchased in recent years have come with some kind of lock. The gun makers do respond to public concerns and try to reduce legal liability. They also give lots of money to politicians to write favorable legislation.

13. One normally needs to demonstrate a real threat

to one's life to avoid prosecution or civil liability. Even if one avoids a criminal penalty for a wrongful death, the civil penalties will ruin you. I don't know Indiana law, but here in New Mexico you can't shoot someone for just being offensive. In order to get my carry permit, I needed to demonstrate basic knowledge of the legal justification for deadly force and demonstrate competence with a pistol. But I suspect you don't know much about gun laws or guns at all.
