18. I think it's safe to say that more people are cutting their toenails

in the USA at any given time than watching a LOT of these cable shows.. people give them too much importance, virtually NO ONE is watching them.. the regular outlets, CBS, ABC, etc get way more viewers..

SpongeBob beating out O'Reilly in ratings just makes my day, every time I think about it :)

Angry? Me? I've heard the right wing make claims like that to try and define the arguement while casting the Dems in a bad light.. I was called a "BUSH HATER" in the National Review Magazine (of which I'm proud, what's there to Not Hate) a few years ago, most people don't fall for that..

I don't the have time or the inclination to insult, ridicule or ire every DU member who does not agree with me.. I direct my anger toward those people responsible, the ones in the white house...

I am so ashamed of you right now Symbolman and I want you to know that. If you honestly think you are furthering the cause of the Dems, you need to take a good long look at yourself, cause you are alienating people right and left with your sarcastic, oh I am so enlightened but the rest of you are not posts.

I don't talk about this much but I have lupus, thus the name dogday, cause many of my days are like that.. I spend my good days working to relieve the burden of our soldiers, by organizing and arranging gift boxes. I also write to several soldiers in my Son's unit who have nobody. In addition to that, I am wife, mother of a little girl, and owner of a website in which I make graphics for the public for free, and a web designer...

It doesn't matter what you or anyone else here says, I reserve my anger toward those responsible...

30. I was drafted myself during Nam

congrats. I'm glad I'm not dead, so is my family. When I got out I worked at a VA and took care of over 300 patients personally who'd lost their minds from the war, all VETERANS.

I have arthritis of the spine and no health insurance, the VA will do nothing, I've spent over 200 thousand of my own money (nearly lost my home twice, due to that and being sued by Savage for a half a million bucks), and am damn near broke while I have to provide for my own 17 month old son.

I have a website too, and do graphics and flash, and have done a LOT of work for free, ask some of the folks down in New Orleans..

I have been fighting for Veteran's rights with my ARMY OF ONE flash and MANY other works, the ARMY OF ONE flash was made into a 30 second commercial and a millionaire put up 100,000 bucks (and MoveOn helped) to run it during the primaries all over cable on the east coast.

Having a son in Iraq doesn't make anyone a saint, but you have my sympathies and appreciation for what you do for them.

I have a right just like you to disagree with people, and I'm proud of everything I've done. If someone asks you to employ critical thinking skills and you are insulted then you might want to have a look at your parameters, just like you have told me and others who disagree.
