Ha! Tweets Bats 0-2 In His Attempts To Shape The News Cycle |
|
First, Tweety is all over the NYT piece on the Clinton's marriage. He thinks it will be one of THE defining issues in the 2008 campaign. So, he has Howard Dean on - who completely shoots down the idea as idle gossip. "Are you telling me, "sez Tweets, "that their marriage isn't a topic of discussion among top Dems?" Dean: "No, it isn't. It isn't Topic A at all. This is gossip, and I'm going to be hard on this stuff no matter where it comes from."
BTW - when Tweets and his fellow RW enablers haul out the NY Times as a reliable source, Ds should be saying, "is that the NYT that ran Jayson Blair's fantasies and Judith Miller's outright falsehoods on Iraq as the truth? We're not talking the NY Times that broke the Pentagon Papers here."
Secondly - Tweets failed miserably last night in trying to paint *'s false admission of mistakes last PM as being "Lincolnesque." Unfortunately, no one on his panel bit. In fact, they all disagreed with him. That led Tweets to say that "maybe I'm not such a big cynic as the rest of you," to which one panelist said bush's false contrition itself was the height of cynicism.
Tweets - on the road to total irrelevancy.

In the prized 25 to 54 demographic.
Tweety has lost his tweet.

3. NYT - Liberal Rag or Paper of Record |
|
It can't be both, and personally, I think it's neither. However, you can't expect to claim credibility when you arbitrarily decide which of their stories to trust based solely on your own political ideology.

6. The other night Tweety tried to equate |
|
George Allen's lifelong love affair with the Confederacy with a ficticious kid wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt - implying that Allen really didn't understand the implications and it doesn't matter anyway.
I don't know how much $$ Tweety's accepting under the table to spew this shit, but I hope his ratings sink so deep into the toilet that he gets his ass cancelled soon.

8. He is such a transparent tool |
|
Now he needs to discuss the state of W’s marriage using the Globe for reference.
Chris seemed shocked that he was the only one buying into W’s “apology”
He is an ass.

9. His orgasm over *'s fake remorse even |
|
made my apolitical daughter in law puke. She walked in as grandma and I were watching (only because we tuned into KO only to hear the stoopid press conference) heard tweety waxing ecstatic over *'s Lincolnesque speech and immediately began making barf noises. She'd never even seen the moran before but knew at a glance she was witnessing a phony.

10. Oh, Nora O'DONNELL *did* agree with him, both called Shrub |
|
"reflective." Thank Zeus for Keith, and even Dead-intern-Joe who really blasted Shrub, the former saying it was too late and too cutesy with the old story of Pickles egging him to repent, and the latter saying that he was only regretting "words, not ACTIONS."
