1. I'd take him as our Pres in a heartbeat.
Ever see "Suicide Kings"? That's who I want negotiating on my behalf: a great blend of charm and psycho.

And, may I add, Chris is a swell dancer: witness the video for Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice"

3. His movies are a site better than Reagans!
And I think Clark Gable would have been a far better pResident than Reagan too, even after Clark was dead!

4. With Mr. Gable's distinct ears,
there could've been a huge popularity of two-handled coffee mugs, following up on the sort of marketability of the "Teddy" bear. And some sort of motto like "America, I hear you."?

I'll bet nobody in Hollywood EVER had a head as Big as Reagan's. I'll bet he was a chickenhawk because the Army couldn't find a "steel pot" to fit that xxxxxxx large noggin of his. A number 3 wash tub would have been tight on Raygun's mega-skull. The GOPers are still trying to put Raygun's noodle on the dime, but that sucker was never worth a plug nickel.

11. I used to worry about this man!
I worried that he was as twisted as the characters he played. Then I saw a documentary/interview with him, and he's very down-to-earth, doesn't know why he gets all these weird parts, and loves ballroom dancing. He's great!

One of my all-time favorite movie scenes is Christopher Walken & Dennis Hopper in "True Romance" -- an awesome mix of the ominous and the humorous -- a brilliant "up yours" from a dead man talking.

17. That scene deserved an academy award!!

It is so fantastic! I loved the Walken since Annie Hall. BTW, I think they ought to add a "Scene" category to the awards.

I read an interview where he said on film, his face takes on unusual character & that's why he thought he got such weird parts. I also saw him on that actor interview show on Bravo & he said the first thing he does when he gets a script is cross out all the punctuation. Interesting, huh? Last I heard he was still married to his wife of 30+ years.

18. Was he arguing politics the night Natalie Wood died?
I've always thought he's a hot guy. (If you haven't seen "At Close Range" with Christopher Walken and Sean Penn, you should. It's a very disturbing movie, but a very good movie.)

I've always wondered though about the night Natalie Wood died. Gossip was that Walken and Wood's husband, Robert Walker (?) were arguing politics -- and it was heated -- which is why Natalie wanted to get away by herself.

I also read something funny once about his unique "accent". He said people are always asking him what country he's from. He's been told repeatedly that he talks as though English is his second (or third or fourth) language.
it's not. He was born and raised in New York.
