G.E.RUSSERT wants MORE (literal) blood, human sacrifice (of Iraqi youth)
Edited on Sun May-28-06 11:32 AM by UTUSN
He said to Leslie, regarding a U.S. exit from our excellent Iraq Attack adventure, "Well, it depends on whether the Iraqi youth will step up to SHED THEIR BLOOD, to give up their lives..."

High Priest G.E.RUSSERT hath spoken as the great god Shrub DEMANDS. I say to Iraqi youth: Say to G.E., "We didn't start the fire."

3. Well then, let's get the boy suited up and on his way. He can stop by
where ever Jenna and Not Jenna are hiding and give them a ride. Oh, and Mary Cheney, she looks pretty fit. She'll look good in Grunt Green.

4. I am SO tired of the mantra that "Iraqis need to take control of

their country."

They didn't ask for our "help" in getting rid of SH. They didn't ask for the war or the destruction that followed.

We broke it, we need to pay THE WHOLE WAY to fix it. That doesn't mean we need to keep US troops there. We could funnel
the $ resources through a third party, rebuild infrastructure and the rest of it. It's only our absolute ARROGANCE as a nation
that we and we alone have the moral superiority to "do it right" that's keeping us from finding an HONEST and
WORKABLE solution in Iraq.

Maybe the USA getting saddled with $2-trillion in debt for this war will give the country pause the next time. Right now,
it looks like politicos of every stripe are looking for ways to cut our loses and our overhead. It's immoral and disgusting.

Saying that the Iraqis "need to fix it" is like a murderer saying "it's up to the family" to do the jail time of the perp who did
the crime in the first place.

6. We "lost" Iraq
from the moment we stepped foot in there. The rah-rah war supporters are figuring this out, too. Finger-pointing and saying, "It's up to the Iraqi people" is their alternative to eating crow.
