This guy is just too full of himself. He comes out with an enemy list and claims he is the only person on TV that will hold people like those that work at the New York Times accountable for not fairly covering Bush. I am just a little curious to know what happened to O'Reilly. I know he was always crazy, but recently it just seems that he completely lost his mind. I just find it hard to believe this is just because he is losing a large amount of his audience. Does someone think there is something more or is it just the drop in the ratings?

That recently America has become more and more democrat, and his viewer base is dropping.

8. Welcome to DU hookinmouth. |

May I make a comment on your post? We here at DU are very careful to use the adjective "democratic" when modifying a noun. Also, the Democratic party has a big "D" whereas a little "d" is used when not referring to the party. Example: We have a democratic form of government, or at least we used to prior to electronic voting. :(

I think that his media shows have not helped with his delusions, but have rather reinforced them.

6. O'Reilly Makes His Bones by Being Always Being Angry At Something |
|
With HIS president and HIS party running the entire government, there isn't anyone to rail against. Life still sucks for the little guy, but they can no longer blame the big, bad Liberals in Washington. Iraq ain't the Liberals' fault. High fuel prices ain't the Liberals' fault. Poor wage growth and outsourcing ain't the Liberals' fault.
So, he has to create enemies and wars out of whole cloth. The war on Christmas. Smear left wing websites. The NY Times etc. His enemies' list, etc.
It's hard to be angry at the world when you're a multi-millionaire and your friends have ALL of the power in Washington.

9. Ah, but Stephen Colbert has a much better list!!! |
|
And he puts people on it, and takes them off, with such hubris and grand ceremony!!
As for "Dildo, Really!"--his crap started to slide off the table when that Andrea Makris situation blew up. He can spit, spew and scramble all he wants, but that was his tipping point. It's simply a matter of time, now--he will never get back up the mountain.

about ratings. Sean, Anne and the whole gang know exactly what it takes to get people to talk about them.
Life in America seems to be nothing but a game to many people!!!
Repugs do not think, they just react.
They need to be held responsible.

I hope to see him explode in primetime, or on one of his book selling tours. All that it takes is a situation where he can't get his way or questions that suggest that he doesn't know what he talking about and he will really, really angry like he did with Al Franken.
I hope to see him in a situation with someone like mike tyson or someone who is not going to take his shit and lets see who he tells to shut up. He'll do it if he knows his bodyguards are around , he is nuttier than a fruitcake.
