We are the dumbass thralls that follow the orders of a few demented world leaders and poobahs and potentates and popes and priests and monks and senators and preachers and mega trillion-aires. We let this small group of under-qualified over-achievers screw up the world.

We allow them and encourage them to live like kings among us, we put them on pedestals and we elect them and we promote them and we obey them as if that's how it's supposed to be.

It's called, The History of the Human Race, and it's always been like this.

Until 1776, when a few folks got the crazy idea of a government ruled by it's own people, not kings, sheiks, CEO's and presidents.

1. The stuff those few folks did in 1776 would now be labeled "terrorism"
They would be seized by the government's secret police via illegal wiretaps and disappeared to a prison overseas someplace, say Eastern Europe or Guantanamo for "reeducation."

2. I do believe the Brits did say we were terrorists. And Rabble
It was an odd thing to do, think that the people could rule them self but I think Bush must have been with the Royalist but just stayed here when he should have gone back to England.

3. Well, a government ruled by its own people
after the merciless Indian savages http://www.law.indiana.edu/uslawdocs/declaration.html were taken care of.

Other than that though, couldn't agree more.

4. It's own white people, not the natives.
Someday, down the road, the white man will have to pay up.

5. You are so correct on this one.
I am presently reading Howard Zinn's book - A PEOPLE'S HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES - 1492 TO PRESENT.

The elite did it then and are doing it now, killing the low class and using the middle class for their personal gain.

Sometimes I wonder what am I doing on DU? Is this all futile for us? I hope not but it is said one must learn from history.
