Hey Santorum!! What goes around, comes around!!
Former Pa. Congressman Reacts To Santorum's Residency Claims

Sen. Rick Santorum (news, bio, voting record) launched his political career 16 years back by unseating then-Rep. Doug Walgren with an aggressive attack on the issue of whether Walgren really lived in a home in the area.

"And I've talked to his neighbors. His parents live there. He does not live there," Santorum said years back.

"What goes around, comes around. And he finds himself sort of in the same situation that he put me in at that time," Walgren said.

Channel 4 Action News reporter Bob Mayo tracked down Walgren in Pittsburgh. He has been silent as Santorum critics challenge the senator's residency in Penn Hills in light of the Santorum family home in Virginia.

"The truth is that when you have young children as I did then, and as he does now, you really live in Washington. There's no other way to meet both your responsibilities to your district and to your family than to do that," Walgren said.

Does that mean Walgren feels sympathy for Santorum?

"Well, I don't know that sympathy would be the right word. Even now," Walgren said.

Santorum's staff told Mayo that Santorum didn't have children when he made his 1990 pledge to live in his district.

2. Karma can be a real bitch. And there are lots of Repugs that
have a lot of BAD Karma headed their way. Santorum should be near the top of the list. While they're at it, I hope they're looking into his charities that have admin costs above what's allowed by law. Wonder where all that admin money has been going...

3. You may have the wife and kiddies in Washington
but you spend weekends and Congressional recesses and vacations IN YOUR HOME STATE in a house you've bothered to KEEP FURNISHED just for that purpose.

You don't let a house sit empty and ignore your home state completely unless you're trying to con the voters into sending you back.

That's the difference.

4. Nobody home / Santorum tries to cover his tracks on residency

Before every election, the Post-Gazette routinely sends letters to the candidates seeking material for the Voters Guide. Back in March, as part of that process for the primary, the newspaper sent a letter to Rick Santorum at his home address, at least the one that he claims. Back from Penn Hills came the letter with a sticker from the U.S. Postal Service checked as "Not Deliverable As Addressed -- Unable To Forward."That is all you need to know about the nasty dispute between the Republican Sen. Santorum and his Democratic opponent, Bob Casey Jr., in the November election. The whole thing is rooted in one inconvenient fact for Sen.Santorum: http://santorumcybergate.blogspot.com/ Which one
