Iraqi lives now worth $2500 US...
according to a news report just heard on CBS radio network news, the US if offering Iraqis $2500 for each family member killed by US marines in Haditha. Some Iraqis have accepted this blood money and others are outraged and rejecting it. will this blood money come from the perpetrators or the taxpayers?

Let's see, that may be about what the average american cat owner spends each year on cat food and kitty litter.

perhaps we could just pay EVERY iraqi $2500 and leave the country, declaring "mission accomplished".

1. $2500 is a pittance compared
to the millions/billions that Halliburton et al. are raking in...and we are paying it, we American taxpayers, paying blood money for this bloodbath
