I'll bet Billie Jean King might take exception to that absurd technique!!!
That guy is STILL GAY....but he's such a dork, he probably couldn't get a date at closing time with the drunk half passed out by the door!!!!
That was incredibly creepy to watch!!!

10. Expressing anger is a good thing |
|
in a controlled environment and in a safe way.
Maybe when he gets it all out he'll realize what he's angry ABOUT: an uncaring and often hostile world that refuses to accept him for who and what he is, even though it's clear that the god they all believe in MADE HIM THAT WAY.
Then again, maybe the poor bastard IS a dork and will go through life blaming himself for not being what the world wants him to be until he eats a gun.
In any case, I feel sorry for him.

16. I think I'd feel sorrier for him if he wasn't using his anger to make |
|
other people even more miserable than they already are, and further alienate them from themselves and their families if they can't pretend like he does.
It's hard to sympathize with people who make their living pulling other folks down into the pile of shit where they live.

18. If there is a god, he'll turn against the people who |
|
are trying to "cure" him and then it's a small step to voting Democratic.

3. And all this time I'm being told |
|
that's it's only because I haven't found the right opposite gendered person to be with.
Why would he do that with a tennis racket and a pillow? He's totally going to ruin that pillows thread count.

Good one. But since he's gone straight, he probably got it at Kmart anyway.

9. He needs to worry more about... |

...his brain cell count more then his thread count of his little pillow. The best cure for homosexuality is an end to homophobia.

4. "Mom! Mom! Why did you do that to me!" |
|
Oh brother. Whacking the pillow with a tennis racket is going to make you straight? It only made me think the guy is more of a flamer than he thinks.
This crap has been debunked so many times - the old "absent father, domineering mother" BS. There's no scientific correlation at all to this idea. And the "touch" sessions - oh yeah - Colin Cook started those years ago. It turned out of course that he was engaging in masturbation with clients behind the closed door, but that's OK!
And - bottom line - I like who I am. I don't give a shit if some whackos out there think I should feel ashamed and want to "change" into something else.

6. So he's gay because he didn't have a good relationship with his dad? |
|
how does that explain all the gay men in the world with good relationships with their dads?
How many people buy this crap?

23. I, for one, don't buy this crap. How does that explain all the |
|
straight men in the world who were raised by a single mother, very limited relationships with their dads and numerous gay and lesbian friends? All my children are straight despite all those supposedly negative influences. I don't think there is anything that makes straight kids turn gay, or gay kids turn straight, for that matter.

I would so much rather have my son tell me he was gay and then live his life as such than for him to do ANY of the things in that report.
SCARY!

I am such a big hot hetero stud? Fix me Jesus? I cannot beleive I got the last in stock of this bedding ensemble with the matching draperies and here I am tearing it up?
(edited to add comment below) I am a big, flaming homosexual who has lots of hang ups. But my homosexuality is definitely not one of them. No amount of sporting goods equipment or bedding or violent contact between them is going to change that. I am gay, and I would not change it if I could...it is an inherent part of me. I am hard pressed to say that I am "proud" to be gay. It is who I am. It would be as if I were "proud" to be male, or to have thinning brown hair, or hazel eyes. I am simply happy with who I am as a gay man. What I am proud of is that I have stood up and said as much.

I am amused at the levels the homophobes will go now to "convert" gay people from their "aevil" lifestyle. And a TENNIS RACQUET? Isn't that a little limp wristed? Shouldn't it be a hockey stick or something really butch?

20. Nah, his game is a racket... |
|
...so the conman actually did stumble on an appropriately named piece of sports equipment to use to steal from primal therapy to construct is dog and pony show.
Now, a real journalist would have asked for him to show that his computer doesn't have any gay porn on it to release some of the steam from his having deeply closeted himself.
It's ugly to watch someone buy into their own impression. This guy is pitiable, but beneath contempt as well.

I don't know the psychological term for this. His racket is tied to the racquet.

That should cure it, or should I say, if that doesn't cure it, then homosexuality must not be curable.
Not that I believe gays need to be cured of anything.
