Bill Maher hosting the first Internet talk show |
|
Amazon Fishbowl with Bill Maher In the monologue talking about the technology that's making the show possible: "....it's kinda like what the President has going on with your phone."
The first guest is Dean Koontz, and the Dixie Chicks perform two tunes sandwiching an interview(and Yes, they play "that" song).
Catch it on Amazon.com. Yeah, They're RED as BushCo, but you don't have to buy anything. :)

Back in 2000 there was a talk internet site called eyada.com. It was internet talk radio out of New York. It was really neat but it didn't make it.

14. In my case, it came up automatically when I launched Amazon. |
|
But, you can do a search for Amazon Fishbowl, and you'll find the link there.

I tried in IE 6, IE 7 Beta, and Firefox.
Nada.
I'll just try back later. If the newest show was recently posted, they might just be getting hammered ATM.

13. This is some very clever and OPEN marketing |
|
Every guest has a product, you can order it on AMAZON, and there's no bones about plugging the item. It's so blatant, it is actually refreshing. I don't mind being marketed to, so long as they give ya a taste, and stop with the schmaltz and trying to pretend that they aren't really hawking their wares.
