Does RFK Jr sound like Bobcat Goldwaite to you?
I encourage all voter fraud discussions, but the messenger RFK Jr sounds like Bobcat Goldwaite to me anyone else? This is a serious charge; voter fraud, we need credible sources, and messengers, but the voice of RFK Jr just grates me as he stammers on. His writing is very good, he makes well based arguments on the facts gleaned from the fraud in Ohio, it's his delivery. Also the reasons he says Kerry did not fight the faux win by shrub does not add up. The info on the voter lines , waiting for many hours in the cold rain, and missing machines, and moved polling places in the poorer neighborhoods, while surburbon voters white and repugs had no more than a 15 minute wait out of the rain. Now it is rumored states will not allow exit polling, a verified way to get accurate voter preferences.WTF? We seem to be going backwards in regard to open verified elections.

3. you are aware the RFK has a serious medical condition, right? if I recall
it is the same thing randi rhodes has.

I have heard him speak a number of times, and if one is paying attention to the message, the voice problems don't really matter.

13. This is a terrible link about SD.
SD is NOT a mental condition or a reaction to emotional problems. It is a neurological condition that may be hereditary. And the suggested treatment is crackpot. SD is treated with either surgery or botox injections in the vocal cords, neither of which are necessarily successful.

29. Now, I Thought It Was A Pretty Broad Range Of Treatments Mentioned
although the source is certainly not mainstream, I would be loathe to call it "crackpot" just because it doesn't conform to the mechanistic model of medical interventions.

From the site:
Orgone Energy: Primordial cosmic energy, universally present. It can be demonstrable visually, thermically, electroscopically and with the Geiger-Mueller counter. In the living organism it is biological energy. Also called bioenergy, life energy, c'hi, and prana. Discovered by Whilhelm Reich between 1936 and 1940.

Now I think that energy fields have been a part of Chinese Medicine for thousands of years, and the recent interest and study in Western Medicine is largely because there is something to it.

I understand the reflex to shy away from a site that discusses psychoanalysis for this problem, but they also say it is not an effective treatment for SD.

Since SD hasn't had much success with treatments you've described. It sounds like the person who has this disorder might want to keep an open mind as to what might be helpful. (Unfortunately not much)

Crackpot? Maybe, but not because it speculates about energy field disruption being involved in the cause of dis-ease.

9. Thanks for the info I wasn't aware of his malady
Still the excuse used by Kerry doesn't add up to me.The fix was obvious as I watched the voter lines, only in the college and poorer neighborhoods in Ohio.

He has been fighting the corporations for years on environmental issues.

Outside of the neocons and their anti Kennedy sepal, he knows what he is talking about.

a) It's election fraud, not voter fraud. The voters did nothing wrong.

b) No, RFK Jr. does not sound like a comedian. You, OTOH, do.

on edit:

I had just logged on and saw your thread and responded. After responding, I saw Faye's thread reminding people that it is important to use the correct terminology when discussing election fraud. So I then looked to see who had posted first, and her post went up about 10 minutes before yours.

So my question is, are you intentionally being rude?

Your post stinks.

8. Bobby Kennedy Jr has spasmodic dysphonia
A disease characterized by spasms or lack of control of the vocal chords, which makes the voice sound strained or as though the person is crying. It is remarkable that he has overcome that vocal handicap to become a great voice for the environment and other progressive causes.

It's not how he sounds, it's what he's saying.

If a vote isn't cast, how can you count it or contest it? Sadly you can't.

As to RFKjr's voice, PLEASE. . .he has a medical condition

At least, on the environment. But he wasn't too strenuous about it. :)

These days, Ahnuld is by far NOT my most hated repug. (Of course, there's so much competition for most hated repug.)

16. I am very thankful his voice hasn't kept him silent.
I admire a man who has a physiological problem that could keep him from speaking out, standing up and doing it anyway because he believes it's the right thing to do.

Did you read Kennedy's article? Tons of credible sources in it. He has brought attention to an issue that needs it and I am at a loss why you are criticizing him.

21. How many mea culpas do I have to post?
I see some agree. Fine election fraud, but voter disenfranchisement to me is fraud , thus voter fraud. Symantics, still votes were not counted for whatever reasons, or flipped.Kerry's lawyers were wrong. There was plenty of documentation immediately to have a case. Repeat Florida, and I expect again this Fall.Still, the Dems are silent why? The DLC Dems were more than happy to just walk away without a fight, just like with Roberts and Alito, who now is a tie breaker for the corporations.Who speaks, or shouts for us? A handful of Dems ain't enough.

22. Voice doesn't bother me any
I love what Bobby does most of the time, unlike many he's not so caught up in partisan politics that he can't give it to both sides and that's exactly what we need I think. One party is broken worse than the other no doubt but both needs to evaluate some things they've done in the past and change some policies. If we said what he does we'd be a pariah, but from him it's all good for some reason ;)

I do question the wisdom of hitting this story so hard right now though. Just last month a problem came up with the new machines which we didn't even know about before then and news of it is being lost behind the rehashing of older issues. I posted in a thread on another board just yesterday where they were debating the Rolling Stone article but weren't even aware the Black Box report was out there or that it was anything new. It is, and it's huge. People need to be made aware of it while we still have time to do something.

We might be better served to try to save the next election rather than fight the last one so much.

32. Backwards?
No way. We are moving forward. We'd have been here a long time ago but not enough people had the gumption or the will, or whatever, to get off their asses and make the moves.

It is YOUR vote we are working at protecting and for too long, too many sat back and let others do the work involved in the protection.

Now, folks are coming around and that is why we are moving forward. Glad to see everyone finally taking notice of the fraud that stole YOUR vote, and will steal the next one if we don't move further.

34. RFK's message is good, but his voice is terrible!
I mean it is so bad that it detracts from what he is saying. He needs a spokesman, or something.

Yes, I am now aware he has a medical condition. And yes, he certainly has every right to speak. But his presentation is so odd that I suspect more people are sitting there thinking "What the fuck is wrong with this guy?" than pondering what he is saying.
