It doesn't matter or not whether the majority of Americans are concerned about gay marriage or if they are for or against it. What matter is that the small percentage who are are VERY concerned about it and VERY likely to get and out and vote. If we keep pointing to the fact that the majority of americans don't care about this or that they agree with us on most issues, without recognizing the fact that the ones against us on these issues who DO care about this stuff are very motivated to vote, without finding some sort of counter motivation for our side, then we'll continue to have issues.
