1. Exactly. The fundies won't be happy until they turn the US into a radical
theocracy. They do not value democracy, or freedom. The despise such things. They are the American Taleban, and they wont rest until the rule us all with a iron fist.

Fuck them.

3. Their ultimate goal is extermination and Domination
Extermination of Gays
"At the 1985 Conservative Political Action Conference, Cameron announced to the attendees, 'Unless we get medically lucky, in three or four years, one of the options discussed will be the extermination of homosexuals.' According to an interview with former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop, Cameron was recommending the extermination option as early as 1983." - Mark E. Pietrzyk, News-Telegraph, March 10, 1995. (FYI - Cameron's now-debunked research forms the foundation of most religious right anti-gay 'studies' - see Mattthew Shepard Online Resources Hate Speech archives for more information on Cameron, and for a listing of religious right organizations that continue to use his faulty research.

5. Some Freep speak: If they legalize gay marriage...
I lose one more example of morality to teach my kids between right and wrong.

6. Nope
In their beliefs there will always be "evil" because the devil exists. I know very very few, if any "born agains" that are happy.

9. Well, the question in my mind is
when did the US Government begin to catalog marriages? I can't believe back in 1830s Nebraska Territory every marriage in the outlying west was on file other than maybe at the local chapel.

Isn't this about the Government's control of people? If a couple gets married in a church service but never fills out the state's paperwork are they married? Is the Government involved to deal with the tax issues, inheritance, medical decisions?
