Poll question: Voting today? |
|
If not, why not?
Here in the 50th District, all eyes are upon us. When I voted at about noon, I was just the 37th voter in my precinct. Not good.

Voted in the Iowa First District primary, where there is an open Congressional seat, as well as a Governorship up for grabs. Voted the correct way too. I sense an upset for the Congressional seat. Or at the very least, it'll go to the convention I think. Of course, I could be wrong.

13. I voted against my Democratic congressman today (Bennie Thompson) |
|
and for his Democratic primary challenger (Chuck Espy). Espy is young, smart, progressive and would be a far more effective representative for the district. His uncle was Mike Espy, a former district representative and Clinton's secretary of Agriculture.
However, I fully intend to support the incumbent in November should he win the nomination.
