We need Constitution Amendments against DIVORCE and ADULTERY |
|
Jesus spoke out against divorce and adultery. So let's ban divorce and adultery, make it an amendment to the Constitution. It will go nicely with banning gay marriage.
Maybe that would shut up those stupid Republicans. :grr:
Dayton, you're my hero! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

of course, we lose Kerry and Dayton himself in the crunch. I love Dayton, hate to see him go right as he seems to be finding his voice.

If you have a kid you support it until it's 18 - or you go to work making license plates. End of story. If we are going to be for family values, we might as well include the kids too.

5. Also Bring back Stoning for such transgressions |
|
against Gawd, as punishment for those Constitutional Amendments. Hey, I'd vote for them before I'd vote for the currently proposed Marriage Amendment. And we all know the truth--these latter two proposed amendments which certainly involve and affect the all important/sacred "Marriage" between whoever, would likely hit Republicans worse than Democrats (though there'd be an awful shortage of body bags (assuming stoning was approved) on both sides).

6. I know what your point is, but don't give them any ideas. |

Many fundies would love that. (Doesn't matter that they do it -- they're forgiven!)

9. The Constitution should NEVER be used to restrict freedom. |
|
The Constitution is a frame and it is up to the executive, legislative and judicial branches to work within that frame.
Not to mention that the "expandning freedom" talking point is an ideal waepon to use against those who champion such hideous intrusions into our lives.
