Anyone else note more and more about homegrown terrorists? |
|
Either by small groups or "lone wolves" (such as vigilante ecoterrorists, blah blah blah)
The internet was also specified as means of terrorists communicating with each other. Of which is obvious, certainly...
On NPR today - radio, no actual transcript.
A fair discussion on their part, but when will legit concerns be replaced by vain paranoia?

1. The Feds have got to find a way to shut down the free an open............. |
|
....information available on the Internet. What better way to do that than to come up with homegrown terrorists who use the Internet?
It's coming - sooner or later - and I'd guess sooner rather than later.

2. Sadly, I worry there is a grain of truth in what is being said. |

If people in America were CHEERING on 9/11, which sure as hell disgusted me, it's a miracle nothing homegrown has successfully happened yet.
Still, China locks their people out. No doubt the same will happen with the US.

3. You're not imagining that. |

NPR had a piece yesterday about the Canadian cell. It sounds like they arrested another group of paint-ball enthusiasts. The bomb stuff was all provided by the cops.
But, they've turned it into a major two-day news event, already, and no sign of tiring in their speculation.
