I'm sure there are some people who will pay money to have their irrational hate for all things they disagree with validated by Ms. Coulter, but I doubt that many.

I listened to about twenty minutes of Bill O'Reilly today at lunch. O'Reilly agreed with her premise but he thought her lanuguage and personal attacks were over the top. His callers, the five I heard, were pro-coulter. Coulter will keep the fans she had before and the normal, sane people will be repulsed as usual. She will probably get more spots on TV after all the dust-up over this.

she still has the juice to get people bent out of shape. I regard her like I do the crazy guy on the street who is telling everyone that the end is near or the gubmint can hear what you are thinking (without benefit of a wiretap, mind you!). Pitiful, but not worth wasting the time we have on earth listening to. When she is ignored, she'll cease to be able to get people all riled up.

The MEDIA really should be ashamed for giving her the time they do. But then, they like to go for the visceral reaction, it's their stock in trade, and she is 'camera ready' in the sense that she knows how the equipment works, knows what it means when the red light goes on, doesn't get flummoxed when a producer talks in her ear, and so forth. When missing or murdered young blondes get a bit stale, one can always count on the HarridAnn to get blood boiling and dole out a previously inconceivable dose of incivility. The media is complicit in her continuing high profile, and they do it just for ratings.

When people call to complain, the television outlet learns one thing--that people were actually WATCHING. I vote for that shitheel with my remote. Two words: Fuck Her.
