In other words, she's not allowed to just call them names and paint them with her character brush (even though she did anyway), because they obviously have authentic feelings on the issue of security. People are allowed to disagree with their opinions, of course.

But she can't question their motives and impugn them as people without looking like a piece of shit, and, boy, does that ever make her ANGRY. So she does it anyway.
