Having flashback. 2000 election ballots in vehicles on Interstate? |
|
Edited on Wed Jun-07-06 07:06 PM by Skip Intro
I vaguely remember, as the 2000 theft was in progress, watching media reports of ballots being moved from one place to another, with footage of vehicles moving along a closed interstate highway. That has been running thru my head all day, out of nowhere.
Does anyone else remember this? What exactly was happening there?
Man, it seems like a century ago. My God, so much since then. So much.
Anyway, maybe its just that the elections from yesterday and Gore back in the headlines have jarred something. Why do I remember watching on vehicles moving along the interstate carrying election 2000 ballots? Where were they being moved from and to? Did that even happen?

get them there, they would eventually be counted. I don't remember more detail -- but I remember, as you do, the will of the people, being driven to Tallahassee.
