You are right I am currently a Republican but I am not here to cause trouble. I have been a long time lurker and am trying to learn from you folks at DU. Who knows I may be a convert.

I have learned that there is a lot of anger built up and that it often expressed on DU which is fine. My observation is that whether politics or a disagreement with your spouse it is often times much better to move on and spend your time on more constructive venues. How does bashing Rush help the Democratic Party at all?

This is a mere observation that one may consider if they choose to. You obviously did not, which is your right. BTW, I would be happy to discuss any issues that are serious to you. I am extending an olive branch to you. I think we both could learn from each other and our country would be better off as a results.
