The Yearly Kos Plame panel (90 minutes, followed by a couple of hours of other YearlyKos events)

http://www.c-span.org/VideoArchives.asp?z1=&PopupMenu_Name=Media/Press&CatCodePairs=Issue,MP

The whole Plame panel is fascinating. Joseph Wilson, Jane Hamsher, Murray Waas, Dan Froomkin, emptywheel, Larry Johnson, Christy Hardin Smith, and others.

I can't even begin to summarize. This is a classic.

1. Thank you very much. No way I could catch it live.

Was hoping someone would get a link up when c-span made one available. And so you have. :)

Edit: Well now I'm really confused how I'm supposed to activate the stream. Is this some IE-only thing? Ouch. Thanks

10. Anyone happened to mention my film?
Just wondering, I know that Joe Wilson got three copies, and I'd asked him to hand them out to anyone he thought might be interested in them - I'd made the offer to sent free copies to any Congress person that wanted the full story of the Complete Chronology of "Rove's War", some folks here donated to have copies sent to their favorite Congress person and I got those off in the mail..

It's the perfect film to help people fight the spin, all FACTS from start to finish, and I know how busy Congress folks can get, that's one of the reasons I decided to tackle the film project, to make sure they had the ammo to dispute what's being horribly SPUN by the media, and actually using the MEDIA as a Self Disclaimer to their own lies.

WIsh I could have gone there to film that panel, would have been very useful.

Always sorry to see the Take Back America gig going on and no one thinks to INVITED Takebackthemedia.com to speak, we've done a great service in a lot of ways and have some great ideas, but no one realizes our worth in that regard, oh well, maybe next year I can bang some heads and convince them that we have a lot to offer..

Bet that panel was a sight and sound to see :)

12. I'm pretty sure it is going to be repeated on C SPAN today,
Sunday, around 3 or 3:30 Ct. time. I'm listening to the 9/11 panel (some) being questioned by Govt. Reform Comm. on National Security that was filmed last week. The Panel today is going to be the CIA leak with Joe Wilson. Hope you can get to watch it. It's 12:50 in Ct. now. I'm sorry that I can't tell you about your film, because I missed the beginning of it the first time, and hope to catch what I missed today. I must say , the discourse going on right now is extremely "heartening"!!It's on C Span 1, not 2. DC (upon reading this post of mine, I realize it's a clear as mud, but I'm on my way out, so I hope you get my drift, and apologize if you don't!)

13. Symbolman, I don't think it was mentioned in the part of the program
that was recorded. But it is obvious from watching the recorded program that there were A LOT of other things going on at the conference besides what was shown on c-span.

will watch the dKos "meta" panel. Interesting how they talk about the site and how different they are from DU. They seem to have a whole different set of worries.

15. watched it
I was impressed with a lady on the panel on Saturday. She was a blogger on Kos named Marcy Wheeler. She had a habit of going after Judy Miller and she nailed her perfectly. The entire panel was interesting and the focus seemed to be about media forgetting what their jobs were and just running with talking points fed to them by the right.
