Satan would never lower himself to taking that Adam's apple-sportin' shemale bitch. He's far too classy and dignified. Great cartoon.

15. considering that he is gods fall guy for all the evil he does |
|
but doesn't want people to blame him for I would have no doubt that god ordered him to marry her in order to make him look bad and of course he had to obey.

just a kook? Does she say in public what Bill Frist says in private?

But I have been listening to the transsexuals among us repeatedly tell us that putting down Coulter by referring to her as -Ann the man-, -"her"-, -Adam's apple-sportin' shemale bitch- is really painful.
I know that the goal is to put down Coulter - but it is impossible to put her down by referring to her as transsexual without implying there is something wrong with being transsexual - otherwise it wouldn't be a put down.
For example, calling Bush a Nazi works as a put down because we generally accept that Nazi's are evil. If we substitute something neutral or positive for Nazis (Democrat, for example) it no longer works as a put down. (For a variety of reasons - but one of the reasons is that we don't view Democrats as evil.)
-- and even if we can't follow or accept that reasoning I would hope that the fact that people in our DU community are telling us (repeatedly) that it hurts would be enough reason for us to stop.

There are many of us who have heard you. Some still haven't and others are too attached to what they see as their own cleverness to stop. Don't pay the latter too much mind.

20. Thank you for caring. |
|
Having spent the day pounding the pavement for equality for LGBT folks, my heart sank when I saw the caption of this thread which I knew would be painful for many of my friends. From my experience working to obtain recognition of my own (same gender) marriage I know it's rough to have to fight out in the world, and then to come to wherever I consider home and to have to(repeatedly) ask my family to stop stepping on my toes as well. With respect to this issue, I'm speaking up so my transsexual friends don't have to bear the burden alone.

19. It was a poor choice of words. There is an angular hardness in her |
|
and none of the caring side one sees in a woman. It isn't that I see her as a transsexual, I see her as lacking the humanity that women bring to our society. That hardness is reflected in her body. Women can rage against injustice, but her rage is in support of and encouraging of injustice. there is no nurture, there is only destruction. She has all of the negatives of a man, and lacks the positives of either gender.

Try to hold off on using others to insult the target in the future. You're right.
