Edited on Tue Jun-13-06 04:50 PM by catnhatnh
...up here in New Hampshire it is motorcycle week...we expect almost 300K riders/motorcycles.Since last Thursday (1 day before the official start) we have had 6 fatalities...a bad year...4-8 for the entire 9 days is closer to normal-this year will most likely be a bumper crop of fatal accidents. There are slightly over 1 million residents.Who rides, who doesn't and hates these conveyances, and what better way to see my state (the notches,Clarks,Etc...)With as many members as we have,I'd like to welcome a few here.....

under 18 requires a helmet. We are surrounded by states that do require one....I usually wear one but do like the fact that up here seatbelts and helmets are both optional for adults.....

when those behemoth trucks, momvans and SUVs are all junked in favor of Smart Cars and the smallest econoboxes all the manufacturers grudgingly make now but don't advertise.
Right now the roads are just too unequal for bikers.
