Makes speech, shakes hands, poses for photos, takes nap on flight home.

Can we put this man's face on Rushmore now?

13. I would like to shake his or her hand (C-Span Caller)
That two bit dictator wannabe ruined my Thanksgiving with his crappy publicity stunt. I remember that the news was on at about the time I sat down to dinner, and they showed that plastic turkey "breaking news" photo-op. The sub-human is on his second stolen term, and is STILL in 2000 campaign mode.

21. He's got to get ready for 2009, once they call off the 2008 elections.
At least Cheney will probably be gone by then, making room for Vice President Jeb Bush.

9. Well, **he really showed us naysayers what's what...
and the little jaunt provides an invaluable survival guide for Iraq

don't tell anyone you're going, not even the host
have the military at your service for your protection
travel only via AF1, helicopter and motorcade
spend time only in the heavily fortified Green Zone International Zone aka "the Ultimate Gated Community"
get in and get out before anyone knows you're there
pat self on back for another 'mission accomplished'
check poll numbers

Note: I may have 'forgotten Poland' - additions to survival list are welcome

5. & made sure nobody even knew he was coming beforehand
--why do We The People have to be herded into validating AWOL's "courage" and "bravery"?
sheesh, the guys/gals on the ground face that intense danger 24/7s -- and we're supposed to be impressed b/c a cheesy, cowardly fake little loser takes a chopper ride with every safeguard and precaution that the US National Treasury can buy?

when are we going to FLUSH this turd?

7. I haven't listened, but I'll bet they're saying it was kept hush-hush
...to surprise the troops. More likely so thousands of pissed off Iraqis didn't storm the Green Zone or shoot his chopper out of the air.

Your 'when are we going to flush this turd?' question reminded me of something we used to say in high school, childish but appropo with one small modification:

Flush hard -- it's a long way to the WH.

;)

12. They're losing their touch
What's with this tepid theater all of a sudden? The TV bobbleheads are having to strain their utmost to make this exciting for good Americans. The flightdeck landing with the codpiece, now that was showbiz they could work with. C'mon Karl, snap out of it, do your job.

They should've stuffed him into a mask and cape and had him drive a fucking aircraft carrier up the Tigris, turrets a-blazin'. Timmy, Tweety, and the whole Fox network would've done a month of shows smoking a cigarette, in dreamy post-coital bliss.
