This is the same stuff he said... well since 2003. Why is this suddenly more believable? Why is this news? Bush says same crap as always.
President Bush, back from a visit to Iraq, said Wednesday violence there will never be eliminated but that a security crackdown and new intelligence on terrorism are contributing to "steady progress." In a Rose Garden news conference barely more than six hours after his return from Baghdad, a buoyant Bush insisted that U.S. troops would remain there until Iraqi forces can do the job on their own.

4. It was a photo-op, pure and simple |

MSNBC reported today that many Iraqis viewed it as merely a photo op.

he solved the gay marriage problem in about 10 minutes...
he solved the immigration crisis in a couple of hours...
5 hours to solve the Iraqi problem, that's about right, but you see, that was a tough one, so he had to work harder.

8. The media seems clueless |
|
I mean he goes to camp David. Returns and gives a speech/ flys to Iraq gives the same speech/ returns from Iraq and gives the same speech again. Yet each time they report it as a new news item. It's the same speech! The news today should be Bush visits Iraq learns nothing new, has to repeat tired party talking points.

10. Finally, after more than 40 years |
|
since his eligibility for military service in South Viet Nam, George Walker Bush grew a tiny pair of republican chickenhawk balls (same size fits all) and entered a real live combat zone for an entire 5 hours....I'm impressed! And, with WH Press Secretary Tony Snow who also went along, because without his bravery in the face of exploding camera flash bulbs, we'd be unable to hear the dangerous details about thier secret military photo op mission. I salute them both (with my middle finger)
