*: " I am concerned about the long-term history." |
|
http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/06/14/king.btsc/<snip> "I am going to do what I think is right," Bush said, "I want to succeed." The president said he understands there are people who are concerned about "the really short-term history. I am concerned about the long-term history."

2. Doesn't he mean the long-term future? |
|
Why does he say "history" when he's referring to the future?

4. Dear Leader knows enough about history to pretend concern? |
|
I don't buy it!
But he should be concerned, because history is going to look very unfavorably on him in the long run.

5. That's not what he told Bob Woodward |
|
"How will history see your decision to go to war against Iraq?" asked Woodward of Bush.
"History? History? We won't know. We'll all be dead," responded Bush.
- From Woodward's 60 Minutes interview

7. Woodward went from hero status (Watergate) to being a White House whore. |
|
Bernstein didn't buy into the wingnut shit and is now an outsider. He deserves better from his fellow "journalists" and publishers, but how often do you get to see or hear from him?
Seymour Hersh faired better. He exposed the Mi Lai massacre during the Vietnam war and hasn't let up since. He let us know about Abu Ghraib, and I get the feeling he hasn't even started to publish what he knows.
Sorry for the profanity here, but Woodward can and has eaten Bushshit.

10. All just so he could get access to the WH |
|
Can't really blame Woodward, all the whore journalists jumped on that bandwagon.

12. Well you just go right on not blaming Woodward. |
|
Bernstein, Woodward, Ben Bradley, Katherine Graham, and so many others helped save American democracy from the Nixon insanity.
Woodward sold his soul for ... well, you tell me. Money? More fame? Beats me. But at least a whore gives you something in exchange for your money. All Woodward gives you is Bush's world view. So his access has bought him access to a mountain of rancid pig shit.
