Colo. voter records disappear during move
A file cabinet containing the personal information of thousands of voters disappeared since the Denver Election Commission moved to a new building, officials said, dashing hopes the records were misplaced.

"We still don't have any reason to believe that it was, quote unquote, stolen," commission spokesman Alton Dillard said Friday. But the commission will let voters who registered between 1989 and 1995 know that they could be susceptible to identity theft, he said.

Earlier this month, the commission acknowledged that about 150,000 voter records had been missing at least since February, when it moved to a new office. Last week, the commission found about 87,000 of the records.

The rest are still missing.

5. Greg Palast predicted
I heard Greg Palast some time in the last few days predict that the next election will be stolen in Colorado, New Mexico and another state I can't remember.

6. I think one of these days we'll hear some suspicious well-educated people
broke in and stole them or looked at them. If you were gonna scrub people from rolls, you would target older registrations, guess what these are? Registrations "between 1989 and 1995." You bet they are looking at these because it is likely they contain a large number of people who have probably moved since then, but didn't update their registrations. Those registrations would be candidates for "Do not forward" letters.
