in anticipation of the Sunday talk shows...

everybody has an interesting life, a compelling story, an absorbing narrative. Who are you to focus my attention and in so doing, make my life irrelevant.? I don't trust you, or the horse you rode in on, I'm no longer compelled by ideology, but by instinct, and I question the prerogatives you thrust forth, ritually, every weekend (and in harmony)...sometimes, annually.

Everyone has their own life. The Dads out-there should be circumspect rather than accepting of accolades, they might wonder if they did the right thing. God bless them for questioning (and cutting the grass and fixing the car).

Anyway, this is a back-handed salute of Father's Day in recognition of the men who make an effort after they find they can't read the script...those are the ones I'd stand down-wind of...
