1. We saw it yesterday
It finally came to Orlando this weekend, and it was on one of the smaller screens, but was still almost 2/3 full (not bad for an afternoon show here).

2. It still hasn't come to my town.
It will later this month. This film will be showing for a while based on these numbers.

3. The numbers aren't bad. It needs a big boost when it gets wider release.
404 theaters is nothing.

Plus, this will be a word of mouth movie. People who see it are telling others how f'n good it is.

4. Those are very good numbers
People have to remember this is a slideshow presentation, it is never going to be able to compete with a movie like Cars in total box office revenue. However for a documentary to get to #12 in limited release is quite unusual. I would expect this is a movie that will have a lot of word of mouth as well so we should be able to expect another good weekend next week, and I believe it will be a huge hit on DVD. This film will have a huge impact, and could very likely lead to some major changes. I believe Gore may have brought this issue to the forefront of the 2006 elections, and if that happens the films success will be enormous.

6. Indeed, this is a 'word of mouth' movie.
I recommend it to you. Here's a link to the movie's web site so you can find a theater near (or somewhat near) you: http://www.climatecrisis.net/
