B ush Military History Project # 16
Journal Entry #16

In BMHP 15 several questions were raised, like: How was George Bush paid for pilot duty the last 14 months of his “service” when he was suspended from pilots duty the whole time?
I want an answer to this from the federal government! And so should you! Why did they pay George W Bush pilot’s pay for 14 months after he had been suspended from flying and lost ALL his qualifications? (see discharge ) What kind of “service” did the American Taxpayer get from a man who had lost EVERY qualification? What is a TXANG Air Force officer paid to do when he has NONE in his qualifications box?
If George Bush can’t prove what he did for the military to collect his pay when he was suspended from flying, on days that he couldn’t have shown up for (see Lechliter, BMHP)when he was completely unqualified to do ANYTHING, then he fraudulently cashed paychecks for work he didn’t—couldn’t—perform. This is a crime: embezzlement of federal money.

These questions are very germane to understanding the character of George Bush’s time in the military. You never saw the MSM asking obvious questions like that, did you? The MSM never points out that our Commander in Chief was discharged completely unqualified to do ANYTHING in the military, not even paint rocks white. Don’t take my word for it, look at the discharge—they spell it out for you in capitals: NONE. The same discharge that Bush says proves his “honorable Service.” The one that does nothing of the kind.

How could the MSM miss such a meaningful statement on Bush’s own discharge? I count at least 10 other irregularities or falsifications on this “honorable discharge.” Like he didn’t SIGN it? Like there’s NO medals listed at all (TAFMS AND TAFCS are NOT medals, they’re incomplete tallies of training days) Wouldn’t that be good reason to attack Kerry’s medals? To hide the fact that Bush’s discharge doesn’t show ANY? And WHY its doesn’t show any?

We have the spectacle of Bush’s followers attacking Kerry’s medals when their hero’s discharge doesn’t show ANY. (Bush was awarded the NDSM for 6 months service and a basic pistol marksmanship badge, but curiously they’re not shown here.) And that our commander in Chief is completely unqualified (or disqualified) to do ANYTHING in the military? Did ANYONE in the MSM point that out to you while they were lining up to help the Republicans piss on Kerry’s medals? Don’t forget, you read it here first—and only here.

The fraud and falsification Lechliter and I are talking about is very evident on Bush’s discharge. We’ll be discussing Bush’s discharge and what it actually shows in the very near future.

Its time to discuss the last of the Killian Memos, the "CYA” document. http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2004-09-09bushdocs.pdf I hope you’ve learned enough from this series to know that, forged or not, ALL of the CBS memos represent Killian’s “CYA,” documents he kept, or would have kept, to defend himself in case all the falsifications being done came back to haunt him.

Killian, if he was the “pro” everyone says he was, kept documents showing he tried to do his duty but was thwarted by his superiors. That’s what the CBS memos represent. He would have kept things that showed he tried to do his duty and that implicate his superiors—which the memos do very well. He would have kept notes to be able to say who said what when precisely, for his own protection.

We have evidence of Killian’s state of mind at this time and it supports this. From Truth and Duty (Mapes) Page 173 (…When I finished reading... (the memos to Hodges).. I asked if the memos were familiar to him. He said they were …(???!!!--BMHP ed. note)…Hodges told me that “Jerry was mad at Bush leaving, ” that Killian was miffed because some of his pilot were (rotating) out rather than go to the F101. Hodges said that with Bush, here was “one who missed his physical, (which was) no big deal, but that Jerry was “miffed”….He told me Killian was a “hardnose, an overboard hardnose.” Hodges went on to say that Bush “went to Alabama with everyone’s blessing.”

You bet he did—as you can see from previous BMHP’s they wanted him out real bad, enough to falsify documents to get him out. And Killian was trying to do his duty, which Hodges and others were trying to prevent.

Mapes never realizes the part Hodges played in the falsifications nor even that there are falsifications. She never realizes that Hodges was central to the whole thing, the one man besides Bush and Martin who knows everything—he was Killian’s (and Bush’s) commander. (Killian and Harris are dead) Hodges signature is all over falsified documents, just like Killian and Martin. She never asks him for the specifics of Bush’s suspension or whether Bush was ordered to take the physical—which facts he HAS to know—what’s up with THAT, Mary?

Hodges changed his story when the CBS story broke—then he hadn’t seen the documents nor was familiar with them. He refused to look at them to identify them when Mapes asked him—and that went no further. Why didn’t you even ask Hodges why he wouldn’t look at them,, Mary? They must give Peabody Awards away in Crackerjack boxes.

(Page 306, T&D) “…Marian Carr Knox later repeatedly confirmed that her boss, Lieutenant Colonel Jerry Killian indeed felt angry and disappointed that Bush didn’t take the physical, was leaving the Guard for Alabama and had openly flouted the rules…. Knox told reporters that…..she typed memos similar to the newly discovered documents, which her boss kept in his locked desk drawer.

(Page 306, Ibid) “… Richard Via, another retired Guard officer who had a desk next to Killian who had a desk next to Killian’s. He also confirmed in September 2004 that Killian kept files in his locked drawer and that the documents content accurately reflected questions about Bush’s physical and other isues that were well known to officers at the time. Via said he and others “ remember the physical and him going to Alabama was an issue,” USA Today reported. Killian was “trying to cover his ass,” Via said. “He was always worried something would come back on him…..Via also said that Knox didn’t do all of Killian’s typing and that several others in the unit were competent typists….”

As we can see, there’s plenty of reason to think Killian kept notes and documents to cover his as in case something came back to haunt him. And we have the Marian Knox theory—that there were two sets of papers. Knox’s statements alone should have demanded an investigation—keeping two sets of books is illegal as hell.

The previous memo, the “Sir We can’t rate” memo, is Killian’s effort to get an illegal order on paper. Killian was asked to do something illegal or at least irregular: fill out an OETR on someone the records show wasn’t in his unit all year.

The final Killian memo is where Killian spells it all out for us, naming names. He was being pressured to rate, i.e: fill out the OETR on Bush when he clearly knew it was illegal. “…Staudt is pushing to sugarcoat it…” And that’s what they did: They falsified the OER (“sugarcoated” it) They did not mention that Bush had been suspended nor that he didn’t fly the whole year. They falsely continued to list him as a pilot 9 months after he’s lost ALL of his qualifications. They falsely stated he had been in Alabama when they had no confirmation of that. They backdated the date for his exit from their unit.

And Killian tells us about some of it here: “…I will backdate but not rate…” What Killian is doing here is confessing to a federal crime, falsifying official documents and implicating Staudt, Harris and Hodges (“Grp”) If this statement is true—that there was conversation and pressure about “sugarcoating” Bush’s OETR, then this is certain proof of conspiracy to defraud the government and falsify documents.

We’ll be looking this over more closely in the next installment of BMHP
