Bush is laughing & grinning & talking about nukes in Europe. |
|
When he was asked about N. Korea's nuke testing, his face stretched out into a huge, ghastly grin like the grinch.
I shuddered at the sight of it.

1. He's actually taking credit for ending America's oil dependency. |
|
Tell that to the oil companies he has lined $$$$$$$$$$$$ in thier pockets. What a joke this guy is. He is so delusional to believe he is a guy who has done anything for this country. Create a NASA-like federal agency to create alternative fuels and the public will be onboard.

He always, always gives that strange leering grin whenever he talks about death or destruction. His eyes light up, too.
It's a completely inappropriate response for a normal person, but in line with the behavior of a sociopath.

31. Dr. Justin Frank comments on *'s performance at a press conf: |
|
in a recent, lengthy interview with him titles "George Bush Is a Very Destructive Man; He Needs To Be Removed From Office". I'll PM anyone the link; I'm not allowed to post it because the article was published on a LaRouche site-- against DU rules.
What was most disburbing to me about that press conference was that he treated every question as if he were taking an oral exam in college. Every time he answered a question without falling apart he would be proud of himself, proud that he got through it. He would get sort of a twinkle. And it was as if getting the right answer were more important than the question itself. He completely lost sight of our dead and dying soldiers, of our dead and dying health-care system, of our dead and dying civil liberties. In other words, his goal is to get through a question and answer—not to understand what the question is about or to grapple with it. And that is not only the way children behave; it is also the fundamental issue of an alcoholic. He is so focussed on trying to manage his anxiety and get through what he does manage, that he acted gleeful. I just thought it was disgraceful to our dead in Iraq, to the seriousness of the questions that are being asked him.
The other thing I noticed, was that, at times, he seemed indifferent. His focus on getting the right answer and needing more time to think of one revealed how truly indifferent he is to his Presidential responsibilities. He was sent out by his handlers to fight back against mounting criticism of his policies and I don't think he's that into it. I think it's not that important to him. I think he's lost interest. It's disturbing: He's disconnected. The only thing that keeps his attention is worrying about getting the right answer.
I remember when I read to my kids at bedtime, that sometimes my mind would wander while I was reading and I wouldn't have any idea of what I was saying. But my kids hung on every word. I feel the press conferences are similar—that he doesn't know or care what he's saying, so he is comfortable saying just about anything. That means to me that he's completely tuned out.

although I usually say his eyes glitter - there's a hardness to the excitement in them when he talks about death, destruction, or anything having to do with war; or the pain, suffering, and subjugation of his enemies. He's got a cruel streak a mile wide, and I agree he's a sociopath.

32. Note to our American brothers and sisters: |
|
Please be assured that your President has again draped himself - and his country - in ignominy, shame and ridicule during his visit here in Europe.
Sadly, it is becoming IMPOSSIBLE to separate the US from it's leader. This is the very sad but inevitable consequence of him being your Prez.
Sorry folks, but it doesn't matter that you hate him. It just doesn't matter anymore. He IS "America" now to a lot of people around the world. W = America.
The rest of us around the world don't care anymore that 51% of you voted against him twice. We don't care anymore. He is YOUR president. He is going out into the world and is the face and conscience of America.
Hate that thought? Tough. It's too late and the damage has been done. He has set your country back 20 years.
I know all that sounds harsh and nothing you don't already know, but I am very, very pissed off this afternoon after watching his press conference.
Rant over.

But I know what you are saying is true. We have allowed this madman and his administration to sully our country's citizens goodness. Sadly most people in our country have no idea what has been done in their name.
I am finally at a time in my life where I could travel and no longer feel that it would be safe to do so. I wanted to go to Ireland to visit my grandparents homeland, but no longer feel that the time is right.
I can't blame the rest of the world for feeling as you do.

or he is scared shitless. I read a research paper once about people who smile or laugh at inappropriate times. The research found that people who did this are trying to project that they are not a threat to the other in the situation. That would be plausible if this man where not a psychopath.
