Tom Ridge: War likely to go on for DECADES.
http://abcnews.go.com/US/Terrorism/wireStory?id=2106860

"I don't know if anyone in the 1950s thought the Cold War would last close to half a century, but it did," Ridge said. "The challenge is global and it may take a generation or two or more to reduce."

12. He works at Home Depot now...
Although, I doubt he wears an orange vest.

They sell Duct Tape and Plastic Sheeting. Probably why he wants the
war to continue.

6. In the middle east ?
It's been going on for 2500 years, and will continue another 2500 years. Our involvement is just a blip on the radar. 9-11 was a criminal act, not an act of War.

7. "The Cold War" was never FOUGHT, you a-hole Ridge. It was all
just a huge military boondoggle for US Corporations and a disaster for the USSR's economy. Period.

8. of course this is the GOP's new issue to replace the cold war
During the cold war they were always saying that Dems were "soft of defense" or "soft on communism" now they will make the same arguements about terrorism. They always need these kinds of issues to divide Americans to win because they never have a positive agenda to run on.

9. I know that
the thingy some blogger wrote about Ridge being batshit crazy was satire. Just the same, I can't get the image of him beating his ankles with a paperweight, shaped like the state of Idaho, out of my mind. Insects! AAAAh!
