Cheney Says He Might Testify in Leak Case
Keep your eyes on the prize folks.

Washington - Vice President Dick Cheney said Thursday he might have to testify in the CIA leak trial of his former chief of staff.

Cheney made the comment in a CNN interview, following last month's suggestion by prosecutors that the vice president would be a logical witness in the case of I. Lewis Libby, who is accused of perjury, obstruction and lying to the FBI.

6. Exactly.
That's why the pardon is coming down. To keep Cheney off the stand under oath.

It will happen. Count on it.

3. I hope the motherfucker ain't too inconvenienced
As Marisa Tomei so aptly put it (almost) in the final scenes of My Cousin Vinny - Oh My fucking God you might have to actually testify about your fucking treasonous activity.

5. I wonder if he will request that the courtroom
be a particular temperature, that he have his special bottled water, and perhaps a special chair. But, holy moly, what are they going to do when he nods off--as he has been noted to do in just about every meeting that has been photographed lately.

The transcript will probably look like this:

MR. FITZGERALD: When did you first ........., Mr. Cheney?

Mr. CHENEY: ZZZZZZ.

MR. FITZGERALD: Isn't it true that ............, Mr. Cheney?

MR. CHENEY: Zzzzzz.

MR. FITZGERALD: Mr. Cheney, could you please repeat that for the jury?

MR. CHENEY: Zzzz..zzzZ.
