Poll question: Do you listen to right-wing radio or go to right-wing websites to get more |
|
motivated to help liberal causes? For example, when I hear Bill O'Reilly talk about his "culture war", it motivates me to do what I can to help his adversaries! Also, there is nothing quite as pleasurable as hearing or seeing the far right in distress when things don't go their way! I have said before that right-wing talk radio was a major part of turning me into a liberal Democrat!
Do you enjoy listening to right-wing radio or reading right-wing websites for motivation?

1. No one needs to listen to RW radio because it is repeated |
|
over and over again by the RW bushbots every where you go and the corporate media picks up the torch and carrys it forward.

8. You can turn it off and come back a month later and pick up |
|
right where you left off. The message is the same over and over and over.

I have managed to avoid screaming "TURN THAT MOTHERFUCKER OFF!" :banghead: at the top of my lungs while standing in the back yard. In my neighborhood that would be considered "inappropriate behaviour". (and yes, I used the spell checker)

6. I've been known to scream "ARE YOU ON DRUGS?????" |
|
when some fool has been playing Lamebawl in my hearing.
I have since been vindicated, of course.

3. Billo and Rush aren't the enemy. |

My job is to help find viable progressive candidates in my area and convince my neighbors it's in their best interest to support them. My job is also to convince my neighbors that progressive causes in DC are worthy of support and taking action to encourage their reps to support. Quite frankly, my keeping myself informed on actual facts, and being able to discuss that reasonably with my neighbors takes the power right out of Billo's hands.

4. I used to, but no longer... |

My blood pressure goes dangerously high just reading what's here now... LOL!
My head would probably explode if I still did that.

7. I must confress. FR is like watching a wreck, I just can't take my |
|
eyes off it. Whenever something is breaking I just have to click over there to see how they react. It actually serves as comic relief until they start getting nasty and wanting to nuke all the muslims, etc., then I leave.
Sometimes they will surprise me on shit. Like the other day when the Supremes ruled it was OK to keep evidence even if they violated the knock first rule. They were very unhappy about that one. Go figure.
