Hey all,

I am :rofl: because of this. A couple of things first:

1. I don't like to pick fights or be known as the troll in any forum, and I have had many spirited debates with conservatives, both real and virtual, but when I read something so made of straw and it's posted only to support a heinous agenda, I have to put my foot down.

2. I am a liberal. I don't like far right freepers. I do not mind conservatives.... these goobers on this post are freepers. I have no problem putting a freeper in his or her place when given the opportunity.

Whatever one may think of the wit or lack thereof, no freep is insulted or harmed during this episode, but rather I lambast the mindset as a whole.

Well, of course they "zotted" it instantly, and among some of the troll alert posts were a few reasonable ones too...along the lines of "abuse is abuse no matter who does it"

BUT the funny thing was how some of them took such glee in finding out who I was on DU and in the fact that they had found and cornered this "troll", like I gave a flip about "covering my tracks".

Yep, went and posted a thread about my evil deed within five minutes:

Naturally one of their more tech savvy folks was able to find that I had linked to their site through DU and we all had a laugh and went on our way....but I had to laugh AGAIN when I went back and saw this exchange:

So...when you go to post 30, you find that they had pasted my entire DU post and all of of the responses....sort of like I had been apprehended.

Ok, but it get's even better.

When DU finds a troll of the FUCKULIBS variety, they are shown the door and called a troll and forgotten. But at FR :rofl: that isn't enough, even for the harmless pranks!

In fact, these guys aren't happy until they have the head on the stake outside the city wall.

It is the ANN COULTER syndrome.

Now none of us are perfect, but I wonder what this all says about Right Wing culture in general?

Hope you all don't mind the dupe posts, and I really don't want to appear that I think I did this great thing, because it wasn't anything at all. I just thought I'd share this bit of insight into freep thinking with my fellow DU'ers.

Oh and by the way, 91 freepers responded..and the post is still up. :shrug:

I have never had the desire to do it on FR because that board is impossible to navigate. It just flat out sucks shit. It is the worst discussion board I have ever seen. A real world personification of that board would be four or five drunken rednecks sitting around an over turned telephone company cable spool being used as a table outside of a run down mobile home discussing the engine block hanging from a dead tree in a trailer park that is in the middle of nowhere in southern Missouri.
