Bush theory: Bush is a liar!
Edited on Mon Jun-26-06 05:13 AM by ProSense
He is either:

incompetent (doesn't know what he's doing);
negligent (knows what he's doing and doesn't give a damn); or
sinister (competence and accountability don't matter as long as the goal is achieved).

Bush is an incompetent, deceitful and sinister bastard. No one starts a war based on a lie (intentional death and destruction) because they are conservative.

The failed response to Katrina is not a failure of conservative policy.

There is a lot wrong with conservative policy, but conservatism isn't the same as incompetent.

The mistake a lot of liberals make is trying to define Bush as a conservative. The wingnuts love Bush and that should be a sign. He's angered a lot of conservatives, but they still will not embrace liberal views. In that sense, that loose connection, conservatives can be blamed for supporting a failed president!

Nearly 80% of Americans think the country in on the wrong track. That's a sign that this has nothing to do with liberal or conservative, but everything to do with a country hijacked by a bunch of thugs.

How did Bush get selected to run the country?

3. Of course he is a conservative.
Conservatism is a corrupt philosophy based on the notion that human beings have no obligation to help one another, and that in society there is a natural aristocracy of the few who should be served by an impoverished many. It holds that business should not be curtailed in its pursuit of revenue by any laws seeking to protect the environment or workers. It seeks to eliminate all social programs and allow the poor who fail to succeed to either die or depend on church-based charities. It seeks to tax the rich at the same rates at the poor, which is of course onerous on the poor.

he ONLY tenet of conservatism that POS Bush breaks is that he consistently runs up deficits, but that hypocrisy is the rule with most conservatives, not the exception.

8. Of course not.

But you're saying he's not a real conservative and that there is nothing wrong with conservative policies. I say he is, and there is. There are lots of conservative liars, and sadly, more than a few liberal ones. But POS Bush IS a real conservative, a mix of Barry Goldwater and Reagan (minus the intellect of the former and the charm of the latter, plus he panders shamelessly to the Pat Robertson crowd.

9. I agree some conservatives (people) lie, and Bush is one of them. Still,
trying to say (not you) that the reason he lies is because he is conservative is different. The same with trying to say he's negligent, irresponsible and incompetent because he is conservative. Conservative views suck, Bush sucks for that reason and many more.

6. I like this one. Why? It is much more realistic than those
"mental illness" armchair Dx threads. And they fucking annoy me.

Back to the topic, I commend the OP for a good & realistic post.

7. bush hidden agenda theories
I'm convinced the USA would be healthier right now if it was openly run by the MAFIA.

Really, if somebody named Gotti or Gravano or Luciano or Gambino was the President.

I would really like an answer to why they're doing all this totalitarian destruction of our country.

Complete incompetence or complete evil are both uncomfortable motivations to attribute to these creeps.

If things are going "according to plan" just who is being served? Who in secret America is saying; "Ah, yes, our plans have succeeded beyond our wildest dreams!"
