So what are you going to DO, Senator Feinstein?!?!?
From http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x1509825

Senator Feinstein:

Your surprise at the power of the Vice President and his role in pushing down on the CIA for doctored intelligence (information that has been known at DU for over 2 years) makes for compelling CSPAN 3 viewing...

But WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT other than gasp?

A question we should ALL be asking before the 12 hour newscycle sweeps her mind somewhere else...

2. There's a lot of that going around
Edited on Mon Jun-26-06 04:38 PM by Asgaya Dihi
Barbara Radnofsky is running for the Senate in my State and I'd love to see a Dem win, but she won't. I don't plan to vote for her and I know a number of others who feel exactly the same way. Not going to vote against her either, that office I'll simply ignore.

She refuses to say if she's a drug warrior or not, or even indicate that she cares about the issue. What are we going to vote for then, more of the same? No thanks. They need to actually stand for something other than "not a Repub".

5. Barbara Radnofsky
I don't have a clue where Ms. Radnofsky stands on the drug issues that face this country, but i can say without a doubt that any republican will stand where he or she is told by the RNC.

Not voting for Ms. Radnofsky because you don't know where she stands on a particular issue, seems a bit short sighted. First you might ask her campaign or her where she stands on this issue as well as others, but i can almost guarantee she holds a better position on all issues that concerns people that hang out here then any republican counterpart.

6. I have
Edited on Mon Jun-26-06 05:34 PM by Asgaya Dihi
I've emailed her since late June of last year on the issue, she answered once to ask what I'd do without actually answering the question. Never responded to that nor the one I sent months later to follow up on it.

I'd since mentioned it here and someone gave me the email of someone on her campaign and suggested I write to them about it. seth@radnofsky.com

I did that too on June 07, 2006, no answer there either. If anyone is being short sighted I'd think it's them. This is not a policy I plan to vote for, look it over and tell me exactly why I should. I don't care what they call themselves, if they can knowingly support this they don't have my vote. www.prisonsucks.com

7. This has not been one of my issues,
that said it could be! I tell you what let's do, if you're open to suggestions? Let's both email her and see if we can get a response, would you email me off this thread and let me know what type of questions you've been asking?

Dihi, i'm going to close up shop here in a few minutes. But if you want some help let me know, i'll do some reading on the subject and we can team up on Ms. Radnofsky, and see if we can't get an answer.

8. Sure
I had copied what I wrote to Jack Cole from LEAP and he wrote me back, I didn't save the originals but most of it is included in the reply he sent me and that I still have. I'll send it along and we'll see what happens. Her I'm not thrilled with after all the hassles, but solutions I'm always willing to work on.

3. Thats a good question,
but the gasp was worth the watch. When she heard his name come up, and you could hear her gasp it was a real moment.

But like you said what's she going to do with this information, and when, she needs to be on the Tee Wee right now pushing the talking heads to follow up on this very real story.

The Downing street memo's that followed the intelligence hearing was equally as exciting, just to hear these topics discussed in senate chambers made me feel good.

4. I think the most important thing for the country and the party
is to win in 2006, otherwise everything else will be irrelevent

In other words, after 2006 we can hold them accountable for not doing their job, but if we don't take back at least one house in congress it will be all moot
