Don't you people understand just how hard those poor people in Taiwan work to make those things for us to wave around??

1. The more we burn, the more they make
It's win-win!

No flags were harmed in the making of this post.

5. What do you do to a flag whose time has come? Isn't it proper to burn it?
And, why does no one show bush signing the flag? a total no no.

7. Don't worry the republicans will bring it up again when they need it.
Edited on Wed Jun-28-06 11:36 PM by LaPera
I don't think republicans wanted it to pass...if it passed the republicans wouldn't be able to use it again...That would explain why republican fascist Mitch McConnell voted against it, to make sure it didn't pass.

14. I predicted that it wouldn't fly
They were surprised (and probably pissed off) that they had a few Dems voting along with them, so they were FORCED to draw straws and find the one guy who had to cast the no vote to keep this from going further...it's the new Roe v. Wade argument, which I guess was getting a bit shopworn. Now they've got a new outfit in their closets, the Red White and Blue ensemble, that they can swap out for the Hating Gays attire, or the Roe V. Wade costume. Building up their wardrobe.....
