NOW IS THE TIME FOR ALL GOOD MEN TO COME TO THE AID ...and tweety...
This talk of boycotting November elections is dangerous, recognize it for what it is: another evil GOP trick,i.e, stealing elections by innumerable methods -- like the many others borne by the evil Bush brain -- they are desperate to steer us off track -- we MUST be on guard, quash all such talk about boycotting (which is what they want) -- believe the opposite of anything the GOP says -- they are beginning to lay their traps for November! It's by going to the polls, the requirement of high voter turnout (to match the telephone polls) that we will overcome. It's their base they are worried about not coming out and if we come out in full force, we will win and they know it! We should be talking up GOING to vote -- offer rides to others -- talk to anyone who will listen -- IT'S TIME!

TWEETY IS THE ENEMY, now that he's outed himself, if you want to boycott something, stop watching his show -- I've watched him from the beginning, read his books, but after his performance with Colbert this week, outing himself, I'm weaning myself from him -- he's the enemy -- it's time we stop watching Tweety and let MSNBC TV know it!!

His gall to keep bringing the repulsive Delay back into the forefront -- just further proof of who he's working for and it part of the plan to shore up their base; even though Delay's indicted as a criminal, that's who they are using as their front-liner (look at MSNBC TVs homepage today, you'll fine Delay's smiling face, front and center!).

Remember when Tweety had problems getting GOP operatives, politicians on his show (he spoke of same publicly) because they blackballed him and ONLY when he changed his ways, played the softball they required, did they return to his show. That method works!

IT'S TIME WE LET MSNBC KNOW WE ARE NOT WATCHING TWEETY UNTIL HE CHANGES HIS TUNE AND STOPS PUSHING THE GOP AGENDA

They are in a ratings war, Dan Abrams is trying new things, trying to turn it around and he doesn't want an upset now! If there were ever a chance for our views to matter at MSNBC TV, it's now! Please drop them a line about Tweety's far right agenda. BTW, they have a big picture of Delay's smiling face on their website front page today.

DON'T JUST COMPLAIN HERE AT DU -- BE HEARD BY THOSE WHO NEED TO HEAR IT!

1. Except Abrams is not on our side at all. He is Elliott Abrams cousin and
throughout 2004 was either loathsome to Kerry or ignored him. Elliott was INDICTED over IranContra.

I doubt that Danny Boy would have even gotten the job if he hadn't been already MADE by Jack Welch years ago.

Doesn't matter, as GM, bottom line, he's only concerned with cable success

6. On the surface, they all SAY they are. But the actual philosophy of NBC
that goes unspoken, is that they must do what it takes to contribute the greatest profit for the overall company - what's good for GE's bottom line, not what America needs to hear from any of its news networks.

They cheer war unquestioningly because war is where they make their greatest margin of profit.

8. He's the son of Floyd Abrams
Edited on Thu Jun-29-06 07:57 AM by OKNancy
one of the counties most powerful first amendment lawyers and a huge Democrat.
Surely some of that rubbed off on him

Edit: actually Floyd is the cousin to Elliot, so I guess Dan would be a cousin once removed.

10. I know he's Floyd's son, but he's shown more loyalty to GE and BushInc.
I've watched him for years and expected alot out of him when he got his own show.

2. The desperation is becoming SO obvious
I guess they have a lot more to lose than we know and much to be accountable for. Why else would they be so desperate to steal elections?

3. Bushco & Repugs cannot risk a Democratic Win in November
They cannot risk the possibility of Democrats in control of the committees, and Democrats with supoena power.

They are going to do whatever it takes to supress Democratic voter turn-out.

I had the same reaction as you when Lou Dobbs' program floated this same topic - Democrats Boycotting the elections because of BBV.

This is tranparent play on the part of Rove and Bushco.

WE MUST TURN OUT IN HUGE NUMBERS

4. his conversation with Delay on-mic was more than enough for me.
But that wasn't the first thing. He was more and more horrible as the 2004 campaign progressed, having more and more rightwing guests on his show, bashing Kerry relentlessly. When he interviews Kerry face to face, he's always as sweet as can be, because he's two-faced.

I know, he can be like trying to give up a bad habit, that's his stock-in-trade: saying stuff that inflames and keeps people tuning in. It's not about conveying real information.

Any decent guests who might visit the show are usually going to go on other shows as well, so you won't miss them.

5. This is total BS
Just like Repukes sending people to the wrong polling places
or sending out deceptive flyers changing the date of election day...
or screwing with peoples registrations or... (any number of dirty tricks)

What Dems need to do is show up in droves.. in undeniable and overwhelming numbers.
That's the only way to beat the Republican cheats.

VOTE !!!!

9. This is what I wrote to them....
Dear MSNBC - What is the point of having Tom Delay on Hardball? Should I care what an indicted ex-congressperson has to say? Or was this the payback Chris Matthews spoke of when he said to Delay (thinking he was off camera) "I owe you one, no I owe you two".
