Edited on Thu Jun-29-06 10:08 AM by Mabus
I can't believe that I'm going to watch the View. I have it on but muted. It has never been my cup of tea but I'll watch to see Al and Tipper.

edited to correct spelling error.

2. The View -
Edited on Thu Jun-29-06 10:10 AM by pointblank
:puke:

Al Gore -

Tipper Gore - :puke:

In 1984, she (Tipper) co-founded the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC) because she heard her 12-year-old daughter playing "Darling Nikki" by Prince. Critics of the PMRC, including Jello Biafra and Frank Zappa, have accused the PMRC of conducting public and under-the-table censorship campaigns against various recording artists and have pointed out the PMRC's ties to the American religious right.

FUCK CENSORSHIP

FUCK THE FCC

FUCK THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT

that is all, thank you.

Edited on Thu Jun-29-06 10:18 AM by Sugarcoated
Seems there was an audio problem so it went to commercial. I don't know if Al was about to be on, though.

Al :headbang:

9. Snarky Elisabeth asked "What kind of car do YOU drive?"
and "since after the (selection) Tipper asked you to GO BACK to your core concerns, do you regret not making it a part of the campaign?"

Al responded gracefully, "We switched to a hybrid. All of us have to do our part. And I did make it a part of the campaign. Then-Governor (Shrub) pledged to reduce CO2, then didn't do it." Haha.

12. Joy: "If you run for prez & I wish you WOULD. & I love Hillary, too,
and wish both of you would be on the same ticket."

GORE just smiled and said "no plans".

20. It was a good interview
I believe Al's non-campaign campaign is a brilliant strategy.

I'm sure it is driving the wingers crazy.

He's out there with all this free publicity promoting

his cause, and yet the presidential seed is planted by every interviewer.

I bet Rove is having tizzy fits.

22. Gore is the most charismatic Dem today.
His only rivals, IMO, in popularity nationally, are Bill & Hillary Clinton, Obama and Dean. Wherever he goes he is mobbed by people and greeted with raucous applause. His message is real. He is trying to save our world and a growing number of Americans are responding to that message.

Our planet needs him. After the midterms the focus will go very quickly to the 2008 campaign. We need to draft him. While it's possible that he will decide to run anyway, his chances of success will be greatly enhanced by a robust draft movement.

Gore 2008. The planet you save may be your own!
