TV Newser: Questions: About Dozier, Beck, Chung, Siegel, Matthews, Kagan...
Do you have answers, or more questions? Drop them in the tip box...

> Can we get an update on the condition of wounded war correspondent Kimberly Dozier? CBS News has been silent since she arrived in the U.S. on June 7...

> Is this tip accurate?: "CNN photojournalists have started to carry around copies of 'CNN's Standards and Practices' when on shoots for Glenn Beck's show, due to the lack of ethics displayed by the staff of that show..."

> Was Connie Chung's "Thanks for the memories" routine (and subsequent publicity tour) a tryout of sorts for The View?

> How is Good Morning America entertainment editor Joel Siegel doing? He couldn't be at Charlie's GMA goodbye because he wasn't feeling well...

> Did staffers hear a screaming match Tuesday at 30 Rock between Chris Matthews and Tammy Haddad? "Arguments have erupted over the show's alarming drop in ratings," a tipster asserts. In the 25-54 demo, Hardball averaged 128,000 in April, 116,000 in May and 100,000 in June (5 and 7pm airings combined)...

> Is Daryn Kagan on ABC's short-list for a new Good Morning America co-host? An e-mailer says "Diane Sawyer is practically out the door," so "Kagan is being considered for both the newsdesk and the host spot..."

3. I saw that. But I still wonder if the networks think the public will
pay attention to a slightly wobbly anchor.

Appearance being what it is to the "Idol" Nation.

4. Well, Kagan could be considered as
