Ruling Demands Special Prosecutor
Now is absolutely the time for the naming of a Special Counsel to investigate probable violations of the FISA law and the War Crimes Act by the Bush regime.

Since Alberto "Squeaky" Gonzales, the 'Attorney General', is implicated as a co-conspirator in these crimes, a special prosecutor is necessary.

The Supreme Court ruling says that Authorization for Use of Military Force cannot be interpreted to mean more than it specifically says. Therefore, the warrentless, wiretapping is a violation of FISA and the Fourth Amendment.

The Supreme Court also said that the Geneva Conventions on the treatment of prisoners applies, therefore, Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld and Gonzales have been breaking the law by sanctioning inhuman treatment of prisoners.

This is serious business.

Now is not the time for being faint-hearted or considering partisan political tactics.

Since we know the radical Republican Congress will seek to 'legalize' Bush's illegality, Democrats and progressives and liberals and libertarians and all genuine patriots should call for the Justice Department to appoint a 'special prosecutor' immediately.

1. Congress Cannot Fix This One
it would require a Constitutional Amendment, and said Amendment would either gut the whole Constitution, or be by itself unConstitutional.

3. So will real justice finally be served?
I want this evil cabal to be punished for their crimes against humanity.
